Our Highway 12 corridor passes through the southern portion of Napa Valley. Here the vines benefit from marine influence of nearby San Pablo Bay. This Chardonnay is creamy and full-bodied offering flavors of fig, pear, melon and toasty oak.”
Our Tasting Notes:
This was a very well-balanced Chardonnay with floral aromas and tropical flavors. We tasted some lemon zest, pineapple, melon, and a lingering finish of oak. This wine was a bit too chilled when we first tasted it, but the flavors really came to life after we let it sit out just a bit. The lack of butter over-kill was very much appreciated in this wine. It was subtle, soft, and enjoyable.
